A short interview between you, the viewer, and the creators of The Unemployed Mind. 

YOU: Hi, how's it going?

CREATORS: Pretty good, except for this rash.

Y: That looks pretty bad.

C: We're hoping it's not infected.

Y: Well, down to business. So what's this all for?

C: We've created a web series about something that everyone's pretty familiar right now.

Y: Snooki?

C: Close. Unemployment. Everybody's been there one way or another, so we wanted to create a show that's about two regular joes dealing with that experience.

Y: Who are these regular joes?

C: There's Patrick Ladladie, he's an aspiring author and a pretty level-headed guy. He's roommates with Geoff Murphis, who's an aspiring longshoreman and amateur edible architect.

Y: They seem like nice guys.

C: They sure do.

Y: And this is a webseries? Like TV for the internet?

C: Yup! We're starting out with a six episode first season, and if people love it as much as we do, we've got plenty of ideas for another season. Once things are up and running, you'll be able to watch the episodes at theunemployedmind.com.

Y: So why do you need my money? I've been saving up for a tuba signed by John Cougar Mellencamp. Can't you shoot a web series on your iPhone in a parking lot? 

C: You can, but it will look pretty lousy (if you haven't already, watch our video to see what movies look like without a budget). If we're going to do it, we want to do it right. We're getting a talented crew together and a stellar cast including some of our favorite LA comedians.

Y: That sounds great! How can I help out?
