Dear backers of Five Nights in Maine,

In just 30 days we raised $40,613 from 367 courageous and generous backers.

We could not have done this without every single one of you. The support from friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, fellow artists and filmmakers – people we have known our whole lives and complete strangers – has been tremendous. We have found support and encouragement in places we did not even know to look! You have proven to us that this is a film you want to see and want to be a part of.

What next? After a giddy toast, we begin to prepare for a week of meetings at IFP’s International Co-production Market, No Borders in New York. Both Nekisa and I will be blogging about the experience for Filmmaker Magazine. We will post our blogs as updates to keep you informed.

This journey has already been life changing, but it is only the beginning. We want you to be a part of this process until the film hits the screens. Please “like” our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter so we can keep you informed.
