Update #4: Mission Accomplished
I'm just completely dumbfounded. Without words y'all.
Okay, maybe I have a few words. THANK YOU!
Recording the first Winston Audio album, The Red Rhythm, was a long, arduous, sometimes painful, but rewarding process. But to have my friends and my family rally like that in the eleventh hour, and to reach our goal, is more precious to me than anything that has happened with this band before.
This past weekend I had resigned myself to the notion that we weren't going to make it. And I was totally okay with it. No disappointment, no drama, just keep moving forward.
And then yesterday happened.
By around 5:00 yesterday I started to think "this might actually work" and I couldn't stop from allowing my hopes to rise ever so slightly. You're a bunch of sly dogs, waiting until the end like that. But it sure was exciting!
God has blessed me beyond anything I could have imagined. Thank you for being a part of that blessing, and for being a part of this album.

Update #3: Lean In
Just twelve more days left to reach our goal of $4000! I've posted another demo here:

The song is called 'Lean In'. It's a short little song, not even 2:00, but it's one of my favorites. I call this a demo, but in actuality probably very little will change about the song from now until it appears on the album. Don't worry though, the extreme hissing WILL be gone.

Winston Audio have been an active band since 2001. Their lineup has been a constant game of musical chairs from the beginning (sixteen different players). Daniel, Winston Audio's senior-most and sole remaining active member isn't even part of the original lineup (he joined in early 2002). The name persists because it reminds its members (namely this one in particular) that music, like life, is built on the backs of those who came before. Music is community. It is conversation between friends over a home-cooked meal. Winston Audio just want a seat at your table.

It was a pleasure to back your band, despite the fact that I pledged only 10 bucks.
But, i think you'll be glad to know that people listen to your music even in Russia.
I liked Red Rhythm very much and am looking forward to your forthcoming album.
