Mission Accomplished!
Dear dear Backers,
What a joy to report we have made our campaign goal of $10,000!! Seventy backers total and 70 hours to spare. All on the summer solstice—a good omen, I'm sure!
I also want to acknowledge several supporters who made contributions to our campaign outside of the Kickstarter system—Ray Lifchez, Zelma Lewis, D. Jacqueline Edwards, Louise Dunlap, Bernard Marszelek, and Michael Terrin.
We're excited to get the digitization rolling and have started pow-wowing on next steps as we drink a toast to our success. More happy news came in this week that our distributor has a found a less expensive digital conversion service, which means our campaign dollars will go further than we imagined.
And should the campaign continue to grow in the next two days, we'll be able to convert even our tricky color books to digital e-pubs.
With true appreciation of your generosity and goodwill,
Lynne and the New Village Crew (including mascot Lulu hearing the news we made our goal!)
