About this project
Before you do anything take a look at our site, www.binarycards.com. Now that you see how awesomely funny and cute our cards are, I can tell you why I'm on this site currently.
We started Binary Cards at the end of 2008. First we created an online store. Then we hit all the local flower shops, card stores, and boutiques. The problem is that with the recession no small shops are willing to take us on. We've sold as many cards to friends and family members as we can. So right now we have 14,000 cards printed out, and haven't sold that many. Everyone that see's these cards wants to buy them. But we can't get them out to enough of an audience.
So that is why were are here. I know these cards will sell if we can get them out there. We need $1,700.00 to pay for UPC codes so we can sell the cards in local retail chains like grocery stores, or party stores.
The rest of the money will go toward advertising, and extending our web presence.
We would love to expand our offerings to include t-shirts, plush toys, maybe mugs.
So if you could help, we're not trying to become another greedy corporation. We are even working with schools and non-profits using the cards as fundraisers. And we are donating 10% of the profit from these cards to various non-profit organizations.
