Pushing the limits of nanofabrication! Get a personally chosen picture/painting/text/photograph permanently etched into the SAPPHIRE layer of a 1 cm x 1 cm sapphire coated, silicon chip. The sapphire serves to protect the etching from oxidation and makes an iridescent deep purple to sea foam green color finish on the chip surface (you can choose the color!). You will receive the chip, mounted in a lucite, matted frame along with a high resolution scanning electron microscope print of the etching on glossy photographic paper!
