It has been almost two months since we were told the poster surveys would be going out "shortly". Any word on this? I'm really eager to get it...
Creator Brandon on May 9
I have still not received any indication of poster, when will there be an update on the posters?
Creator Noah Wilson on May 7
Has anyone else yet to be sent the survey for the poster from fangamer? It's been almost two months and I wanted to make sure I didn't miss something with that...
Creator Derek Fang on April 30
I just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work you guys put into this project. It was everything I had hoped for and more! While the minecraft hype has assuredly died down and the game didn't turn out as amazing as i had hoped for, it still fueled a gaming revolution and I am happy that I will be able to keep a documentary of this.
Creator Ben on April 30
Missing the poster as well. Got my other physical items though. Haven't received any e-mails either. Not sure what the hold up is.
Creator Aaron Moorley on April 23
It was said in update #23 that a survey about the posters was going to be sent out shortly via email. That was a bit over a month ago. I haven't received any email as of yet. Does anybody know what is going on with these things?
Creator Christopher Marshall on April 17
I have yet to receive anything. Can somebody please enlighten me?
Creator Laura Gröndahl on April 8
Only gotten the creeper toy, digital download and my name in the credits (though it was in wrong section) for backing $60... and I upped from $15 to $60 only to get the supporter edition DVD. Haven't been able to watch the documentary itself yet because even thinking about it makes me stress about not getting the rewards and stuff. :(
Creator Richard Graver on March 24
I'm just checking in to find out the status on the "custom poster print of Minecraft scenery signed and numbered by Notch" which was part of the $350 backer package. Anyone hear anything in regards to this. It was something that was a meaningful reward.
Creator James Greenwood on March 24
I have yet to recieve my $60 Backer package I did recieve the digital move and soundtrack codes but have not recived anything else (I filled in the info for the package that kickstarter asked for)
Creator Brian on March 5
Any updates on the signed custom poster print? I sent a personal PM to 2PP but as usual I never got a response so posting here to see if anyone else knows.
Creator Christopher Marshall on March 2
Hey there, I'm still awaiting my $100 backer package. I also have a feeling my name won't be included in the credits, as I was asked again by kickstarter about it after the documentary was released. I just wanted to make sure I havent been forgotten. Thanks.
Creator HalfC3ntaur on February 21
Hi- I never received my DVD or my creeper toy. I also didn't notice my name in the credits. Just want to make sure I get my DVD and creeper toy. Thanks!
Creator James Heaver on February 12
I got my package at the end of last month, but the creeper toy was broken. I messaged 2PP two weeks ago about getting a replacement, but haven't heard anything back from them. Is there any other way of getting in touch with them?
Creator Ngaiman Chan on February 11
Got everything except the poster. I live in the UK.
Creator Dryw Hart on February 7
My stuff arrived in Canada today, with the exception of the poster. Based on others' comments I guess these are still in production?
Creator Barry Carlyon on February 6
I'm in the UK, and it arrived today. All bar the poster.
I has DVD, Soundtrack, Creeper, Papercraft. No poster yet
Creator Max Van Fossen on February 5
Just got my soundtrack in the mail in the form of two separate copies of C418's album (one opened and one unopened). Is this right?
Creator gz33 on February 5
Whoops I mean Fangamer. Derp.
Creator gz33 on February 5
Very impressive packaging, the guys at J!nx really outdid themselves. And of course a great film.
Creator Silver-Brass on February 1
Has anyone else in the UK received their goodies yet? I'm on the $60 pledge level.
Creator gz33 on December 31
@Russell From update #20(under "Physical Stuff") on December 22: "the physical version of the soundtrack is still in production and will ship within the next month"
Creator Russell on December 31
Great documentary! Really got me emotional thinking about how big and how impacting the game is. My stuff arrived in the mail, but my only question is where is the physical copy of the movie's soundtrack? I donated at the $60 tier and it says a physical copy of the movie's soundtrack. I checked and that is not on the second disc. Is it coming later on, or am I mistaken somehow. Need some information please. Otherwise it was an amazing documentary. I loved every bit of it and am so glad that Minecraft was made. 2 Player Productions, you guys rock!
Creator Jonathan Denenberg on December 28
doesn't look like my poster shipped with my order.
Creator Rob Palkowski on December 28
Just finished watching my copy. Well worth the investment, and it only took two viewings of the credits to find myself in there. I have to agree with some of the comments from @solidgames though - a bit more structure could have helped tie things together a little more tightly.
Creator solidgames on December 25
Glad I sponsored this effort. But, I have to be honest here, the documentary forgot to bring the story, the arc, the reveal, etc. Its a bit scatological without providing any real background to the creation, rise, and phenomenon that is and was Minecraft. Don't take it from me check out the reviews.
That being said, I think 2 Player Productions has a promising future. They just need to work on structure and story a bit. A good documentary is not just a collection of interviews and thoughts. It needs to be organized in a way that presents a set of ideas and makes some statements. This documentary made few clear statements that were not broken up like dice thrown in a craps game.
So, keep up the good ideas but work on the structure and you will make a good documentary. Check out "Indie Game The Movie" for a good example of a documentary that brings the drama, the funny, etc. This documentary just did not bring it. To be clear, still very glad I sponsored this effort.
Creator Dylan Harmon on December 24
just finished watching, thanks for making an awesome doc on minecraft, can't wait to watch it again, keep up the great work!
Creator Vincent Pirozzi on December 23
Finished watching it and it was well worth the support. Good Job guys! Thanks for the putting our names at the end!
Creator Austin on December 23
Just finished watching it, very happy to be a part of this project, thanks for the wonderful documentary minecraft. Great to see a documentary about the things I love.
Creator Stian on December 22
Just finished watching it, absolutely loved it. As a gamer my whole life, even though I don't play a lot of Minecraft, I was really moved at how a game has affected so many people. The little kids especially how they were so into it, it's very heart-warming :)
Creator Anthony Relle on December 22
Just watched also. Thank you!
Creator Samuel Damashek on December 21
Just watched it. Absolutely amazing. Great job 2pp!
Creator Jim McClure on December 21
Steven Kramer, I think it may be too late. If I remember correctly, they said they would use the Kickstarter name.
Creator Luca Hibbard-Curto on December 21
Just got my shipping confirmation!
\:D/
Creator Steven 'Stevanov' Kramer on December 19
I only just filled in the survey how I want my name to appear in the credits, is it too late for that to be put in now? Or will they just use my account name if they didn't get it in time?
Creator David Farrior on December 17
Even though the DVDs may not get delivered until after the 23rd, 2PP sent me a tweet to let me know that all backers will receive a download code for the digital copy on the 21st. As well, the creeper windups will be shipped with the DVDs if you didn't pay the extra shipping a few months back.
Creator Luca Hibbard-Curto on December 17
I never once doubted that this project would be bad/delayed/put on the backburner, even with the other kickstarter. I've been with 2 Player Productions for some time, and I believe that they could do both a serial doc, and a feature length doc at the same time.
They just underestimated on time, is all.
SUPER pumped to see the movie!
Creator In_Digo on December 17
Dec. 21? Oh, I get it. You're going to wait and see if the apocalypse happens before shipping our stuff!
Creator Jon Roberts on December 17
Just got the email with the release date/news/info etc. Very excited to get my DVD and from the trailer and pics in the email it looks to me like they have been working very hard and the wait will have been well worth it. I backed this project fully understanding it would take a long time and I don't regret a thing. If it arrives and is as good as it looks it will be $60 well spent.
Creator Brian on December 16
@Weezr, I couldn't have said it better myself.
Creator Tyson Sukeforth on December 16
Knock knock? Anyone home?
Creator Weezr on December 15
@Virginia Whether or not they are working hard isn't the issue. They published this kickstarter, and then decided to pick up another project...the Double Fine Productions one, without even finishing their first project. This project should have been done months ago. Instead we are still waiting because they put this project on the back burner. They took up too much work and now we are getting burned. It was been 1 year and nearly 9 months since the funding of this kickstarter, had I known it would be that long I wouldn't have backed this project. At this rate I am just disappointed, and I am really regretting my money being spent on this.
Creator Rasmus 'NiM' Sommer on December 15
I haven't recieved anything, is it being sent?
Creator Frank Silas on November 30
It would be great if you put backers names that are in the credits on IMDB for special thanks. When will the DVD be available? Looking forward to it.
Creator James on November 19, 2012
Still no creeper toy. " Aug 2, 2012 11:25pm Receipt for Creepers: Ready to Ship!"
Nadda.
Creator Victor Leblais on November 9, 2012
Still haven't received the creeper toy? Does anyone have it?
Creator virginia Nightingale on October 20, 2012
I know one of the people making the documentary and can personally say that they are working their tails off , often for long hours, to make a high quality product--hope you all like it! You will get it very soon!!
Creator Eric Preston on October 15, 2012
@Tyler I did.
Creator Tyler Collins on September 9, 2012
Who else is tempted to to include their minecraft tag with their name in the credits lol
Creator madve2 on September 7, 2012
Great, but I'm still not sure if writing about that on a Kickstarter really would have broken their hands off. I mean, one of the rewards was supposed to be "All donations receive a special digital backer kit, as well as exclusive access to the production blog through the course of development.", and I really don't view the second part of that delivered. What's the point in backing anything and not just buying post release, then? (I mean from a customer perspective of course.)
