My name is Celeste Gray, the grass roots of the grassroots initiative, Fresh Asheville. I come from a long line of do-it-yourselfers, farmers/gardeners, and people who love their food. Born in Louisiana the love for good fresh food and sharing it with others is just in my soul. I have always had a great appreciation for the source of things, especially food. Many today have no idea where our food comes from, the processes that get it to our table, and the impact those processes have on the environment. In a search for solutions and how to share them, I have been inspired to create an annual Food & Environmental Film Festival.
