We're building the new Seattle Fringe Festival and we need your help! Almost a decade after the last fringe, the new festival will debut September 19th-23rd, 2012. Fast and dirty, uncensored and hands-on, the new Seattle Fringe Fest stirs up a sexy stew of new work by professional and emerging artists. During 5 days of tightly packed programming, almost anything can happen. We'll be featuring a mix of local and visiting artists, in all sort of genres, performing on some of the most prominent fringe theatre stages in Seattle's Capitol Hill Neighborhood.

For our first year, we're asking for your help to gather the funds we'll need to pay for our performance venues. These startup funds will help us create a sustainable festival as we grow into our second year and beyond!

For joy, not judgment; like many fringe festivals, the Seattle Fringe will draw its medley of performing artists from an artist lottery. Our applications are available on our website and are due by May 7th. Everyone is invited to join us for our live lottery party on May 14th. The lottery - and all of our latest news - will be announced on our Facebook page, so be sure to find us at the Facebook link on the bottom of this page.
