Your invited to Truck Farm's Work Day this Saturday
Hey everyone,
This Saturday, June 16th Truck Farm is having a work day with the farmers at City Farm and YOU are invited! This is extra special because we will be at City Farm's NEW location down in Washington Park helping them get the new farm set up. Its a big project to set up a new farm so we need as many people as we can get. If your interested in coming down, let me know! (out of towners, we will try and take some good pics)
LUNCH IS PROVIDED
What: Work Day & Volunteer Training- do some gardening and learn to lead a basic Truck Farm tour
When: Saturday, June 16th from 10-2pm
Where: City Farm's new farm, 57th and Perry in Washington Park
What
to bring: Comfy clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty,
sunscreen, water, a good vegetable joke, $5 contribution to City Farm to
help their operations
