About this project

My goal with this project is to introduce more readers to the Blackfeather Chronicles, and to fund the printing of book two, The Germhacht Episode.

All funds after Kickstarter and Amazon fees, and a fair fee to my awesome new layout guy Ryan, will go directly to printing the pulp paperback on wind energy produced 30% PCW recycled paper. Did I mention it's also tree free?

In the event funding goes over my goal, extra funds will go toward a bigger, more economical print run, along with reward boosts. In the magical event that the funding goal is doubled, I'll see what I can do about getting books 1 and 2 made into downloadable audiobooks.

The Blackfeather Chronicles are an adventure serial about an unusual family of archeologists in the victorian era of a fantastic world, who contend with the supernatural on a regular basis. Their adventures are chronicled online at www.worldofshandor.com, where you can catch up on what happened in book 1, and even sneak a peek at what happens in book 3.

If you'd rather have a book to hold in your hands, to take along on the train, or give to a friend or a child, the rewards on this project are meant for just that.

At $5 you get a pdf of the complete illustrated book 2, at $30 you get both books 1 and 2, and the rewards above that are better and better, featuring original art from the series, art commissions, a handmade cloak, the chance to add a custom character to the world, and even to commission a new story about any of the characters from the series, from their past or from their future.
