4Hire is a web-series we're planning on launching on YouTube in the Fall of 2012.

We are Parallel Worlds Productions, a student created production company in the Treasure Valley area. Throughout our college careers we have worked with each other on several projects. 4Hire has definitely been our most challenging and rewarding endeavor we have undertaken. The number of people who have stepped up to support us with this project has been overwhelming and has really taken us by surprise.

The initial concept for 4Hire was discussed by three friends, Jake Smith, Adam Apperson and Anthony Blaine over dinner. Most projects have some hiccups along the way and 4Hire is no different. Very shortly after our meeting Adam Apperson had to release himself from the project leaving Jake and Anthony to continue forward without him. While this was a difficult loss to adjust to, the two friends took the project by the horns and trudged onward.

Initially the project was suppose to be a quick two week, over-the-winter-break project but the script refused to be held to such restrictions and mutated into a full production with a cast of over 30 people. Presently we have over 32 volunteers involved with our project and four local companies donating time and services to our production. 

Late into the spring semester Jake and Anthony brought Tyler Johnson, a fellow Boise State student film-maker, on board to help 4Hire get off the ground. 

There is a lot of excitement building up for this web series and production company. The possibilities are endless and we know that this project will help showcase some of the best talent in and around the Boise area. With any luck, Parallel Worlds Productions can help this film community become known for some of the best talent in the business.
