About this project
SEQUENCE comics magazine is a brand-new “by the people, for the people” independent 'zine that aims to inform, instruct, and connect the comics community; no invitation necessary! That means you, your friends, and even your 94 year old grandmother can contribute! There is no pandering to any specific genre - we're just looking for new & interesting comics no matter what they're about.
The magazine includes articles, reviews, tutorials, comic one-shots, announcements & opportunities, everything an aspiring comic creator needs to get on the road to greatness!
Submissions are 100% open - anybody can contribute online at www.sequencezine.com !
We need money mostly for printing costs, but also possibly commissioning covers and other illustrations in the future! None of us are full-time workers so we don't have the funds to do this project on our own.

I'm a student in upstate New York, I love comics and want to encourage people to discuss them as an art! I make a lot of comics and have been in a couple anthology books, but someday I hope I can get my own book published. I'm really interested in book arts and zine publishing.
