 What is Circus Circus?  Circus CIrcus is a play and the first production to be created by Loyalty Productions and centers on our character Robert. Written by Eric Welch and Brian Walker (Finnigan Productions). You will follow Robert as he is arrested for marijuana and sent to prison for his crime. Immersed into a world of degradation, chaos, violence, and loss. You will follow Robert as he meets other inmates and the Warden of Circus CIrcus. You will see life on stage as well as through television screens scattered throughout the theater.  Although this is not your normal prison play, it all takes place at Circus Circus State Penitentiary and our Warden Gordon is the ring master running the show. Circus CIrcus will have its world premier July 12th 2012 and run the 13th, 14th, 19th 20th, and 21st at Kentucky Center For The Arts.  

What do we want to do? We want to create a show that will have the audience asking what else can be done? Why do we have so many non-violent marijuana offenders in our prison systems? Why are non-violent marijuana offenders getting more time then violent offenders? We don't have answers, all we have is a show. Although we don't want to shove statistics into the dialogue, we want to entertain and show the chaos that can happen in a prison. Just like the chaos that happens in a circus. 

How will we do it? With your help hopefully! With your help you will be allowing us to create a performance that we envision! All of your most humble pledges will be going towards a state of the art black box theater at Kentucky Center For The Arts, our videographer who will be helping us create mind bending visual images throughout different scenes, to increase the emotions that are set on stage. Your pledges will also allow us to pay our amazing cast and crew, create flyers and posters to market this play to perfection, build the prison cell and set design, lighting/sound technician and designer, our insurance needed for the theater, wardrobe, and jump start this show to be taken somewhere else! 

Can we exceed our goal? Yes, we are allowed to exceed our goal and if we do that it will mean that Circus Circus will be that much better!
