We Hit Our Goal!! (And will be lent a 20x24 Camera!)
We finally hit our goal!!! Thank you all so much!!!! Any other contributions will go directly towards allowing us to purchase more chemicals and plan more shoots. We couldn't have done this without any of you! Thank you!
Another piece of exciting news:
Artist, Francesco Fragomeni, made us an astoundingly generous offer a few weeks ago. He offered to loan his 20×24 inch studio camera (circa 1930s) to us. The beast weighs about 200 lbs but he’s refurbished it and developed a way to transport the camera in pieces making it portable. We couldn’t be more excited, there are only a few cameras this size in existence (“newer” models costing between 11k and upwards of 30k) so this is a once in a lifetime opportunity! The camera resides at his studio in Phoenix, AZ so we will need to make a road trip out to pick it up to borrow.
