Artist, photographer and director Jeff Scott and chef Blake Beshore have teamed up to produce this inventive two-volume compilation, changing form and function and transforming how cookbooks are utilized today. We want to produce a book that is accessible to foodies, while also stimulating the culinary passions of working chefs, sous chefs, line cooks, servers, culinary students and avid home cooks. Our intent is to focus on the authenticity of the craft and not on the hype. This reinvention of the modern cookbook is a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.
Jeff Scott is known for his wildly innovative artworks focusing on America’s cultural history. Scott’s works are in the collections of The National Trust for Historic Preservation, Polo Ralph Lauren, Elvis Presley Enterprises and Disney. Scott has just completed a ten-year project documenting the personal life and rare private artifacts of Elvis Presley. His artworks have been exhibited at The Brooks Museum of Art, The Dallas Museum of Art and The Andy Warhol Museum. Scott’s previous book, Elvis: The Personal Archives focused on his unprecedented personal access to Elvis’s private artifacts. Scott’s revealing new documentation of the enigmatic culinary world, takes the reader on a wild creative ride while broadening his provocative career.
