In 2012, Darien Brahms hopes to release her fifth solo album. Make this project a reality!
Dear friends,
During the three years since the release of my last CD, I have been writing prolifically and recovering from an extensive and necessary jaw reconstruction surgery. It is my hope to professionally record these new songs and test out my new and improved face with the help of world renowned engineer and producer Steve Drown and a number of the talented musicians living here in Portland, Maine.
It has always been of great importance to me to share my music, and quite honestly, I would not have been able to make it without the generous support of others. I plan on starting my fifth solo album this summer and hope to have completed it by the spring of 2012.
Although I have already reached my minimum fundraising goal there is still plenty of time left on the clock to donate before my deadline of August 2. Any money raised from now on only makes the record that much better- more studio time for overdubs, mixing and mastering, graphic design for the cover and perhaps a pizza for the band while they are hard at work recording this material!
