Jon Foy is currently a sleep deprived filmmaker/composer in the Philadelphia area.
Sorry Jason, just got back into town. I'll send the rest of these out this week.
I wanted to ask when we could expect to receive our DVD's?
Thanks
Hey all, I apologize for the delay. I've been so swamped. Many thanks to Jen for gathering the Kickstarter info and making the buttons and stickers. I'll begin getting those out next week. We are between poster designs at the moment and the DVDs need a little more work before they can be sent out. I think we are still waiting to hear back from some folks about where to mail the rewards. Thanks for hanging in there.
Cheers,
-Jon
It's been a while since you solicited addresses ... when can we expect our "rewards?"
Congrats on winning Best Director!!!
Congratulations o funding your project.
Maybe it would be a bit redundant, given that your film will surely be showing in more than one place in the Philadelphia area, but I would love to see "Resurrect Dead" show at The Colonial Theatre (http://www.thecolonialtheatre.com/) in Phoenixville, PA. They have a regular documentary program now, so it wouldn't be too awkward a fit. I'd be more than willing to kick in to sponsor it, if need be, so get in touch with me whenever if you're interested.
CONGRATULATIONS Jon! The PIFVA Board send there wishes for the best.

So proud of you all. Can't wait to see it in Philly sometime.
Good luck with this. I have long been fascinated with the Toynbee tiles and can't wait until the film becomes available for viewing. Wishing you the best at Sundance, and I wish I had more to give.
your project look fascinating!
YES!!!
There is a unique magical chaos to coming to Sundance and it's amazing to see this energy find a larger outlet than even Park City can provide. Of course you are succeeding, what else would be expected? Everyone wants to support an authentic piece of art, congrats! Joe
The very best of luck at Sundance, and congratulations!
Thanks so much! We've met the goal! I've been running around town all day and am operating on almost no sleep. Want to send out an update when there's a minute to sit and can put words together coherently. !!!
Congrats on Sundance and exceeding your goal!!!!! Seeing this happen does my heart good. It's incredible! I could not be happier for you!
Congrats!!!! I'm so excited for you guys!
Congratulations! The best of luck at Sundance!
Yay! I've been checking the progress everyday. I'm so freakin excited for you guys!!!
Congrats! This is just really amazing.
YES!!!
Yeah! Congratulations on meeting the goal!
The story of Toynbee tiles and this movie was one of the first and most epic tales Kevin told me over two years ago, back when I first met him. I am so excited to see it come to fruition now, and in such a spectacular way: Sundance! Congratulations.
You're getting closer to your goal. I am sure you will make, even exceed it!!
Thanks! It's surreal to see all of this happening. Such a strange and wonderful time to be alive.
Hey Jon I just found out the good news! CONGRATULATIONS!! I'm so psyched for you and I can't wait to see the film!
Looks fascinating. And Jon -- your kickstarter video post is totally charming. Great good luck to you and your film!
I've been looking forward to this for a while; I can't wait to see the final result. Best of luck!
Good luck Dovate ... ShoshTrvls
Thanks so much Bindlestiff. Yeah, this movie has Philadelphia written all over it. It's that Philly grit, I think.
On behalf of Philadelphia, we are so proud of you! Go forth and rock at Sundance! -Alexis
I'm the Executive Producer of the film and I can assure you that Jon is, indeed, the real deal. Both as a filmmaker and a person. And he's totally genuine about desperately needing the money - he's flat broke and the costs of getting ready for Sundance are really high (transportation and housing, posters, HDCAM delivery, extra tickets to our own screenings!, etc., etc.). And what Jon can't say himself is how terrific the film is - it's astonishing that this is his first film. So you're not only helping out a worthy film but supporting a real up-and-coming filmmaker in his hour of need. Thanks so much for your help, whatever you can give.
Thanks Robyn. I did actually defer my rent. (Thanks for understanding, Aaron!)
Good observation Gorman. I have a tremendous amount of cost to prepare for Sundance and I am deferring as much as I can, maxing out credit cards, taking out loans, getting billed later, selling personal belongings, begging people, etc. People have been understanding when I say, I am fundraising on Kickstarter, but won't see the money right away. So it is an obstacle that I don't have the money immediately, but things are are still workable and I wouldn't be doing this Kickstarter campaign if it wasn't absolutely crucial. Even counting the Kickstarter money, it still won't cover all of the movie debt, but it will make things manageable. =) Cheers.
Bechard- I can't speak for Jon but my guess is that he will use his rent money & sell everything he owns to try to make this happen. The extended deadline on kickstart is probably just to give them some wiggle room. I know Jon & he is a stand up guy. So don't worry, this movie is legit.
What doesn't make sense is that your end date for funding is the day AFTER Sundance ends. So, how could these funds be used to get the film ready for Sundance?
