About this project
I'm a fashion designer, designing party and wedding clothes for women. I have been making custom clothes for my clients and I want to add a collection of dresses to what I offer. This is my first collection! Once the samples are completed, I will work with my favorite photographer to photograph all of them on a model and create a look book.
Your contributions will pay for the materials for the pieces, the production of the samples as well as the photo shoot.
This will really end up costing more like $10,000 but with Kickstarter you don't get any of the funding unless you reach your goal. So I'm keeping my goal lower so we can surpass it!
I have been designing and making dresses for 20 years and I'm really excited to be focusing on bringing a group of designs to fruition to share with my clients and with you!

In art school, while studying photography, I broke up with my camera and went to Parsons for fashion design. It turns out I like a little bit of art in my design! Now I'm using both sides to create a collection and custom fashions that are both wearable and hand made art. I live and work in Fort Greene in Brooklyn.
