About this project
Listen up! Here's a unique place in New York - from any angle, as well as summarily - that deserves a feature film to be made about it. Yes, I'm talking about Katz's Delicatessen. I think it's also a documentary filmmaker's dream, a chance to tell a story that's emotionally tender, "good news", that is deep and funny and honest, all at the same time.
I will let my great interviewees speak for what Katz's is in their lives - here's Israel Horovitz, playwright.
