Richelieu lace from Kalocsa
We've just received some samples of one of the decoration options for the blouse (kit or ready-to-wear), a variety of Richelieu lacework traditionally made in the Kalocsa region of Hungary. The designs are (of course) stylized roses; with slight variations in shape and in the center design. Each one is so pretty! (If we do say so ourselves...) We used an antique-linen-colored cotton fabric for the base, with matching thread for the lacework to give it a lovely vintage feel:
