Making one piece of wearable art per day, alongside re-creating a current portfolio.
Reaching the goal of $5000.00 will enable me to focus on creating enough new works to put together a current and more cohesive portfolio. This money will cover the cost of creating art and all that that entails for three months. This includes raw materials, tools, a studio space, cost of a professional photographer and most importantly time. Alongside this fundraising effort I will be building my creative muscle and re-thickening my artist skin by making one piece of wearable art a day. I will post these on Facebook daily once the project is a day or two underway, and they will be for sale. 30 pieces in 30 days. These pieces will serve as a sort of three-dimensional sketch routine to keep me working and fresh in my ideas. These pieces will be different from the reward/thank you pieces. My hope with this is to show my dedication to the work as I am asking for so much support both financially and relationally. It will be a particularly challenging task as I do not yet have a soldering set up in my studio! It will be an adventure, to be sure.
