Welcome and thanks for checking out the double-breasted Kickstarter page!
We're excited to share a new batch of songs with old and new fans alike, in a double-breasted musical style that we like to call "couture rock": harp, cello, drums, and our voices together in harmony. Our new five-song EP will be called Suit Yourself, and is missing just one thing… YOU.
Our first self-produced album, Who Will Love You? was a great accomplishment. We were able to create it with the help of great friends and home studios. It opened up some great opportunities playing everywhere from mainstream rock radio to art galleries to playing before the Boston Pops at NJPAC's Prelude Concert Series. Even the reviewers liked it, too.

Following the success of Who Will Love You?, we wanted to keep the excitement going, but wanted to take it up a notch. For this new EP, we decided to take five new original songs into a professional recording studio. We wanted to give you an even better listening experience and capture the complete range of our instruments in the highest fidelity. We have a good portion of the EP recorded already and are anxious to complete the rest of it.
As you know, we are a completely independent band. We do not have any backing from a record label. Thus far, we have managed to raise funds on our own with live shows, sales from our first CD, and money from our own pockets. We're still not quite there. We need your help to finish this recording.
With the money raised from Kickstarter we will be able to finish paying the studio and complete the tracks we've begun. This includes the mixing and mastering of these five songs, which will truly bring the recording to life. We will also use it on design and photography to make our vision for the look and packaging of Suit Yourself come true.

Keep in mind that Kickstarter is an all or nothing fundraiser. If we do not meet our funding goal, then we will not receive your donation, and you will not receive the pledge item or items. Every little bit can help, so tell all your music-loving friends!
We love writing songs, and are passionate about being able to express thoughts and feelings through music with traditional instruments in a non-traditional style. We wish to inspire as many people as we can with our music!

In this self-proclaimed “couture rock” group, all three members of double-breasted compose and sing, bringing a certain variety to their songs that is rarely found in current pop groups. On stage, double-breasted is not only a sight –Kristy’s beautiful 6-foot, 46 string pedal harp and Ardith’s striking, flamed-back cello surround Josh’s drum set- they are also a synergy of musical power and beauty in harmony. We love writing songs, and are passionate about being able to express thoughts and feelings through music with traditional instruments in a non-traditional style. We wish to inspire as many people as we can with our music!
