A web of short stories follows a young couple as they find themselves inextricably linked to a series of paranormal events.
Welcome NoSleepers!
First of all, I want to thank everyone's who's been following my story so far (anyone who isn't coming here from Reddit's NoSleep can check out the following link: http://redd.it/y2crh). I wouldn't've made it this far without everyone's support, and I certainly wouldn't've thought of publishing if so many readers hadn't requested it. But here we are!
For those unfamiliar with this series, the story follows Casey and Ryan, a young couple just starting their sophomore year of college, as they encounter an increasingly dangerous series of paranormal events. Told as a string of short stories, each tale finds the couple face-to-face with demons, ghosts, and other terrifying creatures of the night. Strangers become allies, friends become victims, and we find that there is a very fine line between good and evil.
Over the next few months, I plan on rewriting what I've currently written, not leaving out any details (or even whole stories!) that I may have skipped over originally. I will also continue the story of Casey and Ryan past where I've left off, because their adventures are far from over. The end result will be a paperback novel available on Amazon.com, and an ebook version of the novel. Other rewards, like posters, are available through this Kickstarter only. James Suret was kind enough to make some illustrations, one for each story. Below are a few examples, and I'm looking into adding them to the finished book, if possible. Maybe an illustrated e-book?

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
The main challenge I see is having the final draft written and edited by my desired deadline (January 2013). Then I will need to have the book formatted for both print and e-book. Most of the design work for the cover has been completed, so the final step will be applying the design to the product. I don't forsee any challenges with distributing the book, as I will be using CreateSpace, a program that will make the book available on Amazon.com.
