Zombie Rightz & Zombie People bring you a short film that shows the true nature of the zombie.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Today, in the 2000’s, zombie bigotry runs rampant. Our view of the undead is of vicious and violent creatures hell bent on the destruction of the world. We are here to tell you that is not true. Zombies, like people, are just trying to find a place in the world. Yes, they are creatures driven by instinct, but just the instinct for survival. No different from their fellow living human beings.
Zombie Rightz is an organization for the education and protection of Zombies as undead PEOPLE. We work to create youth based programs exposing our children to zombies early in life, in order to eliminate fear and cultivate familiarity with a new challenge that our world faces. Additionally, we run a zombie work placement program, which is growing rapidly with very real results. And we will soon start our push for the zombie vote. The right to vote is one zombies earn everyday, we look forward to your support in this fight.
Zombie Rightz has partnered with Zombie People to create a short film showing you the other side of the zombie world. In a time when we think zombies are just mindlessly roaming around feasting on brains, zombie people has written a film showing us that deep down zombies are roaming around looking for the same things we as living people are; love, shelter, and security. By donating here at Kickstarter you will be donating to the creation and funding of said film. A film we hope will bring awareness to the zombie plight.
The dead have risen, the living are running and hiding for their lives, and love is in the air. At an impromptu "gathering" our lonely zombie boy catches a glance of a beautiful and decomposing zombie girl who won't give him the time of day. With a little charm, persistence, and a lot of human flesh he wins over the girl of his dreams. But the simple life of boy meets girl and the white picket fence doesn't last long before the reality of the savage apocalyptic world they live in sets in. The film is the type of comedy that appeals to the romantic in us all, and also to the part of us that thinks it is really awesome to watch zombies eat brains.
All pledges and donations will go towards the principle photography and production of this short film. Which includes filming equipment, catering, locations, makeup and the all essential buckets of fake blood.
Help Zombie Rightz and Zombie People make a film we have no doubt critics will call "a feast for the eyes...or on eyes", "anything but dead" and "A love story about a boy and girl, and the people they eat."
