Update #5: Dr. Dog and a Last Minute Fundraising Incentive!

Hi Folks,

So thank you all for your support through this our first active fundraising campaign. We have 3 more days, and in the last hours, we have a new incentive to upgrade your pledge!
Scott McMicken of Philadelphia's most cherished band, Dr. Dog, has agreed to play a live solo performance at the Pre-show VIP Party November 12. The VIP Party is at an undisclosed location (in other words, it is NOT at Johnny Brendas where the show is later that night). For those who donate at the $250 level we have this very special, limited edition package:

2 tickets to Weathervane Music's Year End Concert Fundraiser

Weathervane Music was founded in 2009 by Philadlephia musician and record producer Brian McTear to fill a widening gap in music left by disappearing revenue streams in a failing music industry. The goal of all Weathervane projects is to provide professional level experience and career opportunity for deserving artists, while promoting a clear understanding of the necessary role that audiences must play in the creation of music. A quality foundation for tomorrow’s music economy can only come from a healthy music ecosystem today.

Weathervane produces its flagship project, Shaking Through, with WXPN radio in Philadelphia and is a project of PositiveSpace, a Fishtown-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to create a network of local artists to exchange creative ideas and to promote new opportunities for emerging and established artists in the community. All donations made to Weathervane Music are through PositiveSpace, and as such are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
