Smell that? That's the smell of a successful Kickstarter campaign! Thanks to all of you, we managed to raise $1800 to put on our next Cabaret performances this June, and are well on our way to being able to fund future ones later on in the summer/fall! WOW! Thanks doesn't begin to cover it - we're honored and beyond grateful that you chose to give us your hard-earned cash because you believe in HMC, in Bangor, and in local, independent art. 

ANYONE THAT DONATED $10 or ABOVE: Please send us your mailing addresses! A sweet thank you note will be mailed to you in the next few weeks. Everyone else, hang tight: we'll have reward information coming to you shortly!

As of 6:16 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, we have raised the $1600 needed to meet our goal!  Thanks to everyone - and to Beau Brigham, who kicked in the last $40 - without your help, we'd never be able to do what we do! There's still 12 days left in the campaign though, so if you haven't kicked in yet, there's still time! We can take it over the top! THANK YOU! SO EXCITED/HAPPY/OVERFLOWING WITH GRATITUDE!

Only $230 left, you guys. We're SO CLOSE. All of you that have donated funds to our campaign - we're so, so, SO grateful and honored and delighted that you've decided to help. Tell your friends, so we can cross the finish line now, and maybe keep going! Post the link on Facebook, mention it to people, whatevs - help us get there, so we can breathe a sigh of relief and get busy! 

Not that we haven't been busy, of course. Here are a few of the things we've been working on over the past two weeks, since the campaign launched.

- Began drafting the scripts for June's "HMC Sells Out" shows. Your secret clues are: hot spaghetti mess, ape knuckles and golden retrievers. 

- Putting the final touches on our totally sweet HMC t-shirts - designed by the lovely and talented Kat Johnson - which will be available in the first week of June!

- Working with Penobscot Theatre to stage the June 23 show, which will be bigger and better than any HMC production you've ever seen!

- Some video surprises. Stay tuned.

Wow! You guys helped us reach the halfway point for our fundraising goal in LESS THAN 24 HOURS! Amazing! We are blown away by your generosity! Let's see if we can take this thing all the way by the end of the weekend! Thanks to everyone - this is so totally validating, and exciting, and PROMPT, and just plain wonderful.
