Andy Elwell is a singer/songwriter from Minneapolis, MN. Born in Hibbing, MN and raised in Duluth, MN, Elwell began his musical career as the singer/guitarist in the post-punk trio Islero. After Islero disbanded, drawing on his songwriter roots and influences, in 2006 Elwell struck out on his own with Different Places. He has followed with 2008's New Ground and 2010's No One You Will Ever Know. Elwell has toured extensively in the U.S., been a two-time semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and a two-time finalist in Eddie's Attic Songwriter Shootout in Atlanta, GA. Elwel has also had records licensed for use by MTV, VH1, Lifetime and Oxygen.
