When a celebrity-filled apartment complex falls under attack and only one man-child can save it from certain destruction.
Hey guys! So Sage Canyon is an animated series my friend Josh and I came up with while working out monotonous shifts at Best Buy. The premise is that a guy gets evicted from his house, finds an apartment complex, and it turns out every tenant is a celebrity and the landlord is David Bowie. After moving in, the apartment is attacked by Kanye West who is upset that he was rejected from Sage Canyon, and he plans to bring every other rejected tenant back one at a time in an attempt to destroy Sage Canyon once and for all. I have an entire season written so far, two more seasons worth of episodes brainstormed, and plenty of twists and turns along the way. So why am I coming to you? I need some funding to get this bad boy rolling. I have the knowledge on Adobe Flash to turn out the pilot within the year, I just need the equipment. I have my eye on a monitor, the Cintiq 24HD... This thing is a beast and will increase my animation speed tenfold. That is my primary need to get this rolling. I still have a few voice actors to hire to impersonate the celebrities, I need a new computer to process the detail-heavy scenes, but the monitor is the primary concern. Once I get the monitor, I can finish the pilot in approximately six months. What's my goal in all this? Finish the pilot and pitch it to various networks. I have my eye on Adult Swim, Comedy Central and FX. If it doesn't get picked up by a major network? Continue airing the episodes I have written on the internet maybe once or twice a year.
