With a Hi-Tec-C pen on one end and a stylus tip on the other, the VR1 is the ultimate instrument for writing and touchscreen needs.
Background:
The VR1 Pen + Stylus is the ultimate union for your Hi-Tec-C pen refill and your touchscreen devices. At 20g, the T-6061 grade aluminum VR1 sits in your hand comfortably. The pen and stylus tip are each protected by screw-on caps when not in use. Diametrically magnetized Neodymium magnets are attached at the end of each cap allowing cap to cap attachment or any magnetic surface, eliminating the chance of misplacing caps during use.
Development:
The VR1 Pen + Stylus went through several iterations before the design was finalized.The following features of the VR1 that were enhanced prior to locking down the design:
- Attachment methods of the caps to the main housing body
- The outer diameter of the main body housing from 8mm - 10mm
- The durometer and diameter of the conductive stylus tip from 5mm - 8mm

Where Kickstarter Comes Into Play:
In order to make this project a successful one and bring the VR1 to the public, we need your support to help us reach our funding goal. Your pledge will help us purchase the T-6061 aluminum and the conductive stylus tips at a bulk rate and will enable us to meet the minimum order requirements (MOQ's) for a production run of the VR1. The main body of the VR1 and the caps will be manufactured in India and the final assembly will then be assembled in the USA.
