SUPERLUMINOUS

This story is not just a classic take on the noir genre. It is  also a reflection on modern society through a science fiction vision of the future. Beyond that, it is a tale of two underdogs - Sarah Toomey and Benjamin Peck. These two stalwart anti-heroes take on powerful men; both major corporations and the government, in a time when Earth has been left behind. Humanity reached for the stars and grasped them tightly to their chest. The extra-planetary cities of Earth's reach is growing more populous by the day - and Earth's own cities more and more depleted.

Sarah Toomey is a private investigator of old. Hard-drinking, hard-smoking, hard-lived, she is the great-great-granddaughter of Mike Hammer, Philip Marlowe and Sam Spade. Rapidly reaching middle-age, she is drinking and fighting her way into an early grave... Unless fate somehow intervenes. Benjamin Peck, a young man whose sister is brutally murdered for something he stands guilty of. He carries the weight of her death on his shoulders and is looking to get even with the powers that be.

Together they will unravel a mystery of such magnitude it will up-end their worlds. In a future complete with flying cars, cryptic communications, corporations beyond government control and very little humanity left, these two unlikely allies will do their best to save mankind. Before it is too late. 

This project is a passion of ours; a symbiosis of Fredrik's writing and Ben's art. The rewards listed are also carefully crafted with those passions in mind. We both firmly believe in our mission to deliver this product and the rewards in a way that not only makes everyone involved exceedingly pleased, but maintains Kickstarter's reputation as a place for people like us to achieve our goals and dreams.
