Connected as Philip Silver Ankney (478 friends)
Hello! I’ve been working with or riding bikes for over ten years. Currently, I’m going to school for entrepreneurship and work in a bike/snowboard shop. A former Marine, construction worker, farm hand, and salesperson. I love the outdoors, staying active, social causes, and creating things.
OK. I'd be interested to hear from others as well. If anyone on here knows Philip personally, maybe you can ask him to contact his funders. I'm starting to get anxious. I don't want to write anything harmful on the public Facebook page, and so far I have not done so, but I'm just not sure what to do at this point and I need to get in touch with Philip very soon.
Megan, I am in the same boat as you, I have attempted to contact Philip through Kickstarter but I received no response. His Facebook page is lacking any information as well... http://www.facebook.com/districtbamboobikes
Hi everyone, I would like to know if any of the people who are expecting bikes from Philip have received them yet. If you are willing to share this information please let me know. It looks like 6 of us donated enough money to get a bike, and I'm just wondering if any of you have gotten yours. If you would like to contact me privately you can do so at: meganbeth5@yahoo.com . I feel a bit awkward at this and I am only asking this because I'm having trouble contacting Philip directly. Thanks!
Phil, I have to say, this is not a good way to start a business. Your lack of communication with your investors is a way to make a bad name for yourself. Even if your behind in production, it's far better to say your late than to say nothing at all. Again, we would love to see some pictures n get a little feedback from the "man with the plan".
I am also hoping for some reports. Can you let us know how to get in touch with you? I'd like to know more about the timeline for getting the bike.... Starting to get a little worried since I haven't been able to get in touch.
Phil, whats going on? We have not seen any reports. Please post some pictures, and let us know how the builds are going. You started off with some good energy, where did it go?
Any updates to report? How is the project going?
Looking forward to seeing your machines tooling around town!
Congrats on the successful funding. I can't wait to see this take off. Look forward to meeting you in April.
Thank you both for helping out so much!
This is a great project, and a great way to support a motivated young entrepreneur. Please give what you can to help Philip out. I live in Italy and am doing my part to give him a "Kickstart".
Ciao,
Josh
What, no comments?
I found this from the chalked sidewalk at the Woodley Park metro today. Good luck!
