I'm a 20-something fashion student (which instantly makes me poor), who is looking to create a sustainable senior collection. Thanks!
Hi everyone! The reason for this kickstarter is to help fund my senior collection. I am looking at creating four pieces total. The thing is, I am wanting to do a completely sustainable line. This includes using organic fabrics like hemp or bamboo, and also using natural dyes, like tea. While this is environmentally sound, my wallet is going to be hurting. I don't normally do this, but I started this project to see if anyone believes in my mindset and would help me fund such a feat. According to professors, the average amount of money spent will be $500. Sustainable fabrics cost a bit more than regular fabric because I have to get them shipped to me. (JoAnn Fabrics isn't exactly ahead of the sustainability train).
I really appreciate even a dime for it is a dime more than I had to begin with. So, please donate so I can make four to potentially five looks that I drew and designed from a single inspiration. Thank you guys!
