About this project
Life is full of wonderful and sometimes unexpected combinations:
Green is glad that blue met yellow. Paper delights when it feels the scratch of a frantic pen. And who knew?!? Fries do taste good when dipped in a chocolate milkshake!
So what happens when a love song singing sentimentalist from northern Idaho crosses paths with a beat making realist from the southern part of the same state? And what if the two aforementioned musicians were to hole up in a cabin on the outskirts of a church camp in the beautiful snow capped mountains of their great (though humble) state to record some tunes?
What sounds will spring forth from those woods? What songs have yet to be stuck in your head?
Well, why not help us find out? We (Bethany Toews and Jaffe Zinn) are recording an EP at the end of this month and need to raise some funds to help make it possible.... rocking in the free world isn't so free as it turns out, but we don't want that to stop us.
We think something pretty spectacular will come from this wonderful and somewhat unexpected combination and are excited for the opportunity to share our jams with you and for you to be part of the process.

We're trying to raise the minimum amount we need to make this thing happen, but anything over our set goal will help considerably in giving us the ability to realize the sound we hope to achieve, so please spread the word! Every dollar counts!

Jaffe Zinn is a filmmaker, illustrator, and musician. His first feature film, Magic Valley, recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and is slated to screen at several upcoming European film festivals. He is also one half of indie pop duo Folded Light, which you can hear here: http://thefoldedlight.com.
Bethany Toews is a musician, writer and un-licensed therapist. After many "failed" attempts at forming bands, she is still writing music and putting on shows in her apartment (her neighbors have never complained).
