THE WAR KNIFE VERSION: Gotlandic war knife based on a design by bladesmith Jeff Pringle (a wootz and pattern welding specialist). These are replicas of 8th century weapons, not unlike what would be carried by the OMVI from Týrshammar in our Foreworld stories. In those days, "war knife" meant something akin to "short sword" rather than "pocket knife." This reward also includes a studio tour and lunch with the team, as well as all preceding lower-tier rewards (except the $1241 and $1294 level rewards and the sword).

I'm not sure I'd call this a gracious offer. His company stands to make close to $1million in sales if this gets made (8k backers x $100). All the same, I'm not one to complain about anything that gets CLANG in my hands one day.

This project probably has even more exposure than DFA so that I truly don't doubt. Still it is a bit nerve wracking that something as culturally significant as this whose influences could, arguably, be compared to that of the dual shock controller or the DS' touch screen is still below what it needs to be funded. I'm still hoping to see this game be made though, even if I have to buy a new controller to fully enjoy it.

Even without this. The pledges have increased with about 20K a day the last few days so with 40 hours or 1.6667 days to go it should make the missing 25K with about 10 hours to spare.

Here's hoping he makes the pledge in the next thirty-eight hours or even his generous donation, if its at the maximum 10,000, won't be enough to produce this game. Since kickstarter tends to have problems in the last hour or two I do mean thirty-eight rather than the forty that is the number of hours left, as of this writing.
