      I just got home and was greeted by a beautiful, glossy hardcover. Wow, I am really impressed. The book looks great, and the system is extremely interesting, and I've been a hardcore d20 fanatic for years. Now the next big challange is to try and convince my crew to give it a shot.

      @Dennis, I was just debating how I want to handle that. We'll begin communicating with our adversary creators quite soon (I'm organizing everything today), but I can say - we got yours, Dennis, and it looks solid. ^_^ More information to come!

      Will we get confirmation that our adversary creation got sent in properly?

    8. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
      Daniel Alan Burrow on February 9

      @Josiah - Yeah, that was me failing. I meant USPS. (I really dislike that it's USPS vs. UPS.) I won't be using UPS for anything.
      @BigbyWolfe - That would be awesome! We've watched Kurt Wiegel's reviews for many years, and it'd be an honor to be reviewed by him.

      Sorry, I should have said "Cheapest option for domestic" at the end of that last post. Brain go poof. >.>

    10. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
      Josiah Higginson on February 9

      Daniel, as someone who works in shipping, I suggest the US Postal Service for international as opposed to UPS. Rates are usually much lower, and there's less chance for additional fees "duties" to the recipient.

      My company has had cases where someone got something that was like $100, paid $50 to ship it internationally, and then got pinged with another $25-$50 on 'duties', and that's usually through UPS.

      You might even find that Media Mail through the USPS will be the cheapest option, though I like UPS for reliability.

      Bigbywolfe on February 9

      My group's primary GM is Kurt Wiegel who does the RPG review show "Game Geeks" on Youtube. If you like I can probably get him to do an episode on Tephra. He's pretty busy since he's an Ennies judge this year for Gencon and is getting a lot of stuff to review, but I think we might be able to get the show in before Gencon. Might help get your name out there. Let me know.

      @Jay Irvine - (Speaking for US shipping) Most of the rewards under $70 will be shipped via UPS. I'll be doing some price comparisons, but I could definitely foresee the $100 and above rewards being shipped Fedex. International shipping will all be through UPS. (If you have a special request, let me know and I imagine we can work through it.)

      I've sent out surveys to everyone $100 and under. I'm currently working on the $150+ surveys for backers getting adversaries - you should be expecting those either late tonight (late enough to be tomorrow) or late tomorrow.

      Cheers!

      Ok off to game so this will be my last post before the project is funded:

      Average per Day(based 32 days Jan4-Feb4): $678.43

      @Adam Krump
      I can't guarantee anything this far out, but it's definitely possible. I think there's a solid chance that we'll post a "backer's only update" that will include a coupon for the PDF download (whenever that becomes available). Again, I'm not sure when it'll be, but I'm rather certain that we'll post some sort of coupon when it becomes available. Don't worry - I won't forget about our 350+ original backers that made this all possible. ^_^

      Adam Krump on February 4

      @Daniel Alan Burrow
      That's unfortunate but understandable. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. (Since virtually all of the kickstarters I've gotten in on include a comped pdf copy.)
      Any chance of a free or discounted copy of the pdf when it's released?

      I have trouble finding people to play games that aren't D&D/Pathfinder or World of Darkness, but it looks like this'll have enough juicy lore that's system-agnostic, and any d12 based system is too cool to pass up :P
