Update #1: 79% Funded!
To the backers of the next Meditations,
I'm pleased to say that, with 13 days left to go, our project is over 3/4 of the way funded. Thank you so much for supporting independent cinema. We rely on individuals like yourself to produce meaningful work for the screen.
It's a great accomplishment. But we haven't reached our goal yet. Remember, if we don't at least hit $6,000 by the end of the year, our project won't get any money at all. So be sure to tell your friends, family, neighbors, preachers and teachers. Every little bit helps and no amount is too small.
We're not making a popcorn flick; we're engaging in personally meaningful and intimate cinema that you're not likely to see anywhere else. I know that you've contributed because you want to see those types of films. And I'm very thankful for that. Now let's bring it to the world.
My very best,
Jonathan
