We've launched an exciting new project of our own! Introducing the Kickstarter app for iPhone!
Photo-main

Audience is the puppeteer choosing which lines to hear next through the "line" to create a story.

How would puppetry work if the audience does not rely on sight for their primary perception of a performance?

This piece looks to provide an answer as actors deliver pieces of a story through a primitive (yet familiar) remote sound delivery device (hint: paper cups). Audience members create their own story by choosing which line to answer next. To ensure an authentic experience and remove any bias, blindfolds will be provided by the Operator. No peeking!

Funds will be used to buy supplies (cups, string, stands, other items) and pay any entrance fees for exhibition. All performers are volunteers. Further donation money may be collected onsite as a Pass the Hat moment, however any serious intake of funds to offset costs is doubtful.

This project now has a solid gig! We will be featured in the Montevallo Art Stalk (a Halloween theme) October 27th, 2012!

Pending audience reaction and success of other projects, this project is very portable and it would be nice to take to other venues and festivals.
