A blast from the past monster film masterpiece!
Remember movie serials? No?!?!
Ok, so it's been 60 years since we've had them - back then, they would play before the movie's main feature. Flash Gordon. Buck Rogers. Radar Men from the Moon. Over-the-top action, men in plastic sci-fi suits, low budget cheesy effects, questionable writing, helpless heroines, and a lot of popcorn.
I want to bring it it back.
The $1,675 goes to shooting the first episode, in glorious B&W! Most of the logistical costs have been paid for, but the extra will cover food for the cast/crew, costumes, and other incidentals during the "run & gun" 4 day shoot. (Pointless trivia, most serial episodes were shot in 1-3 days)
This 12 minute masterpiece will air at the local theater, and we'll transfer it to a DVD.
