Hey friends, family, colleagues, peers, internet-browsers, and cinema-goers, welcome to our Kickstarter! Brothers Addison and Chris Goss have been developing Reset for months now, and since writing the script and expanding the story, they have been working tirelessly alongside Producers Nicole Owen & Edward Vasquez along with Director of Photography Will DaRosa to develop it into a strong, meaningful work of cinema. At this point, the film is ready for the production stage, and as student filmmakers we rely heavily on the generosity of our loved ones and our fans to achieve our goals. Filmmaking is a costly endeavor, and though we have attempted to whittle our production costs down as much as possible, we are still unable to fund this on our own. After a heinous car crash, 7-year-old Cal Darkwin must face a terrifying threat when HIS parents decide to proceed with an experimental “reset” procedure that will bring his older brother back to life with deadly consequences.
Created in tandem, brothers Addison and Chris Goss developed the material as a means to promote their filmmaking voice. In completion, their “family drama” will serve as a sample of what they can contribute in future to the horror genre.
