My children's clothing line is moving into a home with 4 walls and a roof! Help me purchase display fixtures and a p.o.s. system.
Hi There!
I'm transitioning my handmade children's clothing line elms & cedars into a brick and mortar location.
After 4yrs on the indie craft fair scene with
increasing success and then wholesaling my line to local boutiques, I'm
now ready to move on to the next step and put down roots in concrete by opening up a retail shop. I aim to open the store mid summer in the hip Mass Ave Cultural District in downtown Indianapolis.
I'll be moving my studio into the shop, so pieces will go straight off the sewing machine and onto the shelves.
So....not only will there be new product daily.... it will be dreamed up and handcrafted just a few feet from where it's sold!
In addition to the elms & cedars line I'll be carrying many other vendor's wares, with a goal to keep a third of the product either locally made, organic, or eco-friendly.
The Project: To purchase a point of sale
system, computer, and display fixtures for the store.
Specifically an Apple iMac & back up drive, POS hardware (drawer, usb swiper, barcode scanner, receipt printer, label printer), some Ikea shelving, and six mannequins.
