Hi. I've been in the music biz for over 10 years now. I keep running into the same problem. Every time I put out a project threw a label I loose control of my album. They take away all my creativity and money just for me to producer "their album" with my face and voice on it. I would like to get from under the control of the corporate umbrella and do my album my way. I was blessed enough to find a distributor with major push that didn't mind me being in control as long as I provide funding.
My goal amount will put me in a position to press and promote this album to the masses. The great thing about it is that I already have a buzz from past music that was released. Once I have funding it will be an easy start. This album is already recorded and is being mastered as we speak. I will be doing everything in-house and independent.
