A storyteller for grownups, H.R.'s work draws on his personal experiences and his study of history, literature, and the Marx Brothers. Previous stories have dissected his evangelical Christian upbringing and his love of Nikolai Gogol. He has performed internationally. He also appears in the upcoming Max Weissberg film “Summertime.”
