Update #9: Some Footage from Serbia
Thank you to everyone who has supported FLOAT!
Here is a short teaser that we cut together, we hope you enjoy it!
Update #8: More Photos
Phil sent me some more stills that I would like to share. I am hounding him for footage, and I think he will breakdown soon and give me to bites to post!
Update #7: Update # 1 From Belgrade
Hello Loyal Backers!
Unfortunately we were unable to upload files to Kickstarter while we were in Belgrade due to the poor internet connection and slow speeds. Luckily for you, we are back in the states and will posting updates now. Here are a few stills that Phil shot in the first few days.
Enjoy!
Update #6: Ben In Serbia
I landed yesterday and Phil gets in tomorrow. There is a good internet connection at the hotel and I will be posting updates nightly. I am off to Belgrade Hall 1 for the first day of practice.
Photos to come tonight, stay tuned!
Update #5: FUNDED!
As of 2:57 PM Eastern Time, we have reached our goal of $3,000 and surpassed it in the last few minutes!
We have a total of 56 backers for the project. In addition to the listed rewards, I will be mailing out a special personal thank you note written on a limited-edition fine art print of a beautiful photograph by a published aviation photographer. Everyone gets a print, even if you did not request a reward!
As I am typing this we are still getting support and my inbox is becoming flooded with people who are interested in learning more about the hobby and want to know how to get involved. This is exactly what I wanted to happen! THANKS again to everyone, and stay tuned for more updates from Belgrade!

Until I saw your posting, I had never heard of the rubberband-power planes you're focusing on, but years ago I did coordinate an international event at Brienne le Chateau (France) to which people from all over the world came to fly rubberband powered airplanes- some of them up to five feet long - hosted by the Aero Club of France. The "science" of packing their rubberbands in ice cannisters to make them better power-producers was absolutely mind-boggling. Who'da thunk it?

Update #3: Featured on Kickstarter
Today FLOAT is the Project of the Day on the Kickstarter front page!
Thanks to all of our backers who have helped us get within striking distance of our goal. We only have 4 days left to make it to $3,000 and I am fully confident we will achieve this!
THANKS KICKSTARTER!
Update #2: Preperations for Serbia
Float Productions crew, Phil and Ben, have bought flights and are going to Belgrade in August!
We have had an outpouring of support and would like to let everyone know that we still need more. We are only 8 days away from our deadline and have much ground to cover on Kickstarter to reach our goal.
We are still planning to post updates to Kickstarter from Belgrade during the World Championships.
