Tailgate the Nation" is an upcoming full feature documentary set to be released Late 2010/Early 2011. In the Fall of 2009, Jean-Michel set out on an epic 3 month journey through the United States, to better understand one of America's most recent phenomenons, College Football Tailgating. From August 31st to January 7th, the brothers stopped at 16 different college football tailgating venues, while driving a 1989 24ft Motor home over 13,000 miles. In addition to documenting these tailgates, the crew was also able to meet and interview a wide range of people/fans from various backgrounds all over the nation. The purpose of this film is to show the rest of America and the world, one of America's long lasting communities. A community in which people have fun, show camaraderie, and treat college football and tailgating as a religion. Regardless of whether you have interest in the the sport or not, football is a part of American culture, and to some people, a way of life.
At the moment, we have created a 3 hour rough cut, from the 90 or more hours of footage captured on the road. To be honest, we were just thrilled to make it back in 1 piece. This entire project has strictly been on our own ticket, along with a few personal donations. We have already accomplished a great deal, without any true sponsors. We're currently in a position where we have a good base, but no funding to complete this project to the fullest.
**HEY GUYS, WE HAVE COME SO FAR. WE HAVE SPENT OVER $20,000 DOLLARS OF OUR OWN MONEY TO SHOOT THIS DOCUMENTARY. WE HAVE THE FOOTAGE, WE HAVE THE EDITOR, WE HAVE THE EDITING COMPUTER SET UP & A 3 HOUR ROUGH CUT OF THE MOVIE.

Born and raised in Santa Monica, Ca, to an American father and French mother. Graduated the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a B.A. in Psychology in 2006. Since his graduation, he has developed a true passion for traveling. In the fall of 2009, he and his brother carried out a 100 day journey through the United States, as they captured the college football craze on camera. This project is known as Tailgate the Nation. They plan to have complete the documentary by the end of 2010.
