ASCENSION is a music project who's theme is loosely based around the Biblical 'psalms of ascent' (Psalms 120-134).
The Project. Based loosely upon the Biblical Songs of Ascent (Psalms 120-134), the songs of Ascension look to inspire the believer in his/her journey of worship 'up into' the Presence of God. "I believe that worship is a life-style, not just a set of songs we sing, and life is most definitely a journey. It's my hope that these songs help take us up a little farther along on our journey in God" ~Lemuel.
Lem is currently working with fellow musicians Curt Alexander, Dave Bleich and Debi Dees (all of whom were members of the band Present Ascent with Lem) arranging and prepping the songs. Plans are being laid to start recording this summer at THE RECORDING HOUSE located just north of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Artist. Lemuel, who has been leading worship "for a very long time", loves music, loves singing, and loves engaging- both with God and with His people. He co-leads with his lovely wife Debi.
Rewards and applicable limitations.
~$50 Pledge or more: Autographed CD's limited to the first 12 pledge donors.
~$100 Pledge or more: YouTube acoustic performances limited to the first 7 pledge donors.
~$250 Pledge or more: Acoustic Concerts limited to the first 5 pledge donors living within a 50 mile radius of Fort Wayne, Indiana. There is no charge for the concert but donors must be able to have at least 15 persons in attendance to apply; assistance with traveling expenses is requested (to be negotiated).
~$500 Pledge or more: Full Band Concerts limited to the first 3 pledge donors living within a 100 mile radius of Fort Wayne, Indiana. There is no charge for the concert, but donors must be able to have at least 100 persons in attendance to apply; assistance with traveling expenses required (to be negotiated). Permission to hold concert at local church facility (or similar venue) must be secured in writing at least 2 months prior to selected date of event.
