ABOUT THE STORY: Teenager Jacob Sterling has a dream to get out of small town Waterford, CA to impress his father and do something with his life. Jacob's father has a plan for him; which is to settle down, and take over the family farm. Jacob refuses to go down that path until he is left with the biggest decision of his life.

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES: Your money will be essential to our production process. Donations will cover equipment rentals, feeding the crew, costume design, production design, location and permits, post-production sound, festival submissions, and promotional materials! Every penny will be spent in support of our film. 

GOALS FOR THE FILM: The goal of this film is to show the audience that some times in life you have to make tough decisions. When you make those right decisions you are pointing yourself in the right direction for success. 

What happens if the money isn’t raised in time? If our goal isn’t met before the deadline, your card isn’t charged, and The Sun Goes Down doesn't get made. We want to avoid this scenario at all costs.

Can I increase my pledge once it’s been made?
Yes! Once you donate, you may want to change your incentive reward to a different one, or increase your pledge amount. To do so, go to Kickstarter and sign in. If you go to our campaign page, the green “Back This Project” button has been replaced with a blue “Manage Your Donation” button. Click it and you can enter a new amount, or choose a new incentive

What's the status of the production? The Sun Goes Down is currently in pre-production. The scripts have been written. Production is scheduled to start Mid-June, with the project finishing early October.
