Covering the theremin yurt.
The Theremin will be housed in a yurt, which needs two skins: 1) is a wall of 22 art panels forming the inside walls of the large tent. 2) the outside skin, which will an odd mis-shaped crazy shape which will pulse with colored lights through the night.
George (Norge) Dietz is an artist working for a sail making company in Salem, MA. Yesterday we helped him reorganize his storage unit full of old sails, and sail material, and George (The Great Norge) has provided the theremin yurt with enough sail material to create the outer walls of the 32' diameter tent. Thanks Norge!
See Matt the Pirate carrying one of three blue sail material bundles we now have, and then partially unravelled is a 70' by 30' used sail, which is in one piece but no longer usable for a sail boat. Recycled sails on our theremin yurt! Yeah!
