The Project:

We wanted to try something different. We wanted to shoot an entire feature length comedy film with no script, entirely improvised. With no money and a strong desire to make one kick-A film, we decided to make it happen.

First we came up with an idea. We wanted to take six completely unordinary and dysfunctional characters and stick them in a small space together and make them deal with each other. We then decided on a location - Wingers, a local restaurant. It was easy because one of us already worked there and we had access to the restaurant between 11 PM and 5 AM for 5 nights.

And that's where we began. We then convinced the best improv actors we knew to join our team and help us make our idea come to life. After several brainstorming sessions and improv exercises, we started production.

We shot the film in small vignettes, focusing on individual characters and their relationships with one another. The film began to take on a life of its own and a miraculous story began to evolve. After 5 sleepless nights we were ecstatic to call "CUT" for the last time. We had just shot a full length film.

It was an incredible and unique experience and we are excited to now make this project a reality with your help.

How You Can Help: 

Our cast and crew were generous enough to donate their time and talents to make the production of the film happen. We are now faced with the challenge of taking what we shot and turning it into a masterpiece. 

We are trying to raise the funds to complete this project so it may be treasured by the masses. The $5,500 you are helping us raise will go directly into editing, color correction, post production sound, music, advertising, and film festival fees.

The Team:

One of the two creators of the film, Christian Busath (who also plays Darren, the Manager in the film), studied improvisation in college and helped start the school's comedy troupe. Christian went on to study with The Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City and also toured the nation playing William Barfee in the national tour of the hit Broadway musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Our Director of Photography is the kind hearted Scott Winn whom has worked on shows such as Bones, Unicorn City, and is also the creator and director of the sensational web series, Dr. Fubalous, starring Flavor Flav and Danny Trejo. www.drfubalous.com
