I am a saxophonist, singer, and songwriter from Portland, OR.  I tour with Gino Vannelli, Bobby Caldwell, Diane Schuur, and Jeff Lorber nationally & internationally.

Now that we got the formalities taken care of…. here is the story.   In 1996, I was approached by young man opening a new hip jazz club in Portland, OR.  He said I had a great reputation and wanted me to play the grand opening. This fantastic new club turned out to be Jimmy Mak's (one of Downbeats Top 100 Clubs in the nation).  Fast forward 10 years and I ended up playing the opening of the it's new expanded location and 10 year anniversary.  As time went on my career grew and I thought it would be great to bring some of my friends who I tour with to perform at Jimmy Mak's.   Over the last few years my relationship grew with Jeff Lorber through several performances at Jimmy Mak's.  After one of these performances he sat me down and said, "You know Patrick, I have played with a lot of people and you are a world class musician, but you NEED a world class record."  This is really when this project started.

In January of this year I decided to do it, booked a flight and on the 2nd we were in the studio writing.  We hit it hard working all day everyday for a week, and then recorded the project the following week.  Jeff called up a few of his illustrious friends like, Alex Al (Michael Jackson), Little John Roberts (Janet Jackson), Dave Weckl (Chick Corea, Robert Plant, Diana Ross), Paul Jackson Jr. (Tonight Show), Michael White (Steely Dan), Dwight Sills (Anita Baker, Babyface, Kirk Whalum) and many others.  So, as you might guess, the records pretty slamm'in!

Now…here's were you become a part of all of this.  I feel very lucky to have had two very special friends fund the initial recording of the project, Michael Blank (CNW Construction) & Lisa Lucas (Jema Bitar Property Managers & Developers).  Now we are at the second phase of the project were all of my fans and other supporters can contribute to help get it in you your hot little hands.  These contributions come with some Patrick Lamb bling!  Here is how the costs breaks down.

Mixing - $2,000, 

Mastering - $2,000

Graphics $1,500

Manufacturing $2,000 

Total - $7,500

Are you in? I hope so because it will take all of us together to make it happen.  The project is hot and all of you being apart of it makes it even hotter in this new modern way of doing things.
